At Legacy Structures, we work through four steps to ensure that all client objectives are met and project outcomes are achieved.
Initial Meeting
Reach out with your project plans. We’ll then organise an initial meeting, either in person or online, to discuss your goals in detail.
This conversation ensures that we can develop a strategy tailored to meet your unique project requirements.
Afterward, we’ll prepare a formal proposal, and upon acceptance, our team will begin work on the concept design.
Design Process
Our process begins with a concept design that outlines the primary structure and identifies key details that may impact the project layout. We hold a design coordination meeting with your project team to refine and finalise the concept.
Following this, we move into the detailed design phase, collaborating closely to complete every aspect. Once the design is finalised, we provide a comprehensive set of structural drawings and a project-specific structural trades specification.
Additionally, we prepare all necessary documentation for the Building Consent application, including calculations, a Design Features Report, and a Producer Statement – Design (PS1).
Consent Process
While the Building Consent application is in progress, we coordinate with the Building Consent Authority (BCA) and other project stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met, facilitating a smooth path to achieving Building Consent.
Construction Monitoring
During construction, we issue a complete set of construction documentation, including detailed drawings and a structural trades specification. Our team also provides construction monitoring services, reviewing specific site works and issuing corresponding site reports.
Upon completion, we issue a Producer Statement – Construction Review (PS4) to support the code compliance certification process.
